The Importance of Agreements and Deposits for safe professional working relationships

Clear agreements create safety, trust, and mutual respect. By setting out terms for each appointment, we both know what to expect and how our time together will be held.

A deposit is more than just a payment. It is an exchange of commitment. For you, it is an assurance that I have reserved my time, energy, and focus exclusively for you. For me, it is the reassurance of your commitment to show up and honour the time we have agreed upon.

In this way, deposits and agreements honour both of us equally, creating a shared foundation of integrity and respect before we even begin.

  • DEPOSIT POLICY

    Deposit Policy

    To confirm any booking, a deposit of 50% of the total session fee is required.

    Deposits can be paid via bank transfer or PayPal.

    Cancellation and Rescheduling Terms

    10 days or more notice: Full refund of the deposit, or the option to reschedule to another date.

    Less than 10 days notice: Deposit is non-refundable, and rescheduling requires a new deposit.

    24 hours or less: The full session fee must be paid.

    These terms apply to both online and in-person bookings.

    Rescheduling Guidelines

    If you wish to reschedule, you must provide the new date no later than 10 days before the original appointment.
    For example: if your session is on 11 June, you must notify me of the new date by 1 June.

    Once the original appointment date has passed, rescheduling is not possible.

    Please note: if an appointment has already been rescheduled once, it cannot be cancelled or rescheduled again.

    I create a safe space where you can be fully seen and free to express yourself without judgement, always within my boundaries.

    Your “no” and your “yes” are honoured fully and without question within my boundaries

    I take responsibility for my behaviour and welcome feedback if something feels uncomfortable or triggering.

    I agree to respect your boundaries and honour you as a human being at all times.

    Our sessions are confidential.

    Touch is always focused on you. It is not for my pleasure but for your healing and embodied experience.

    My Requests of You

    In return, I ask for the same respect, integrity, and acknowledgement of my humanity.

    Do not share personal details about me, my home, or my life outside of sessions.

    Do not take photographs of me, my home, or my surroundings.

    All appointments require a deposit to be confirmed.

    Boundaries for Ending a Session

    I reserve the right to end a session or professional relationship without refund of fees or deposits if any of the following occur:

    Disrespect towards me, my home, or my environment.

    Failure to respect my boundaries or honour my “no.”

    Behaviour or comments that make me feel unsafe.

    Breaches of confidentiality regarding me, my home, or neighbourhood

    Verbal or physical abuse, demeaning behaviour, or objectification of me in any form.

    Misogynistic, sexist, or racist comments or behaviour.

    Failure to hold the work with the integrity with which it is intended.

    Arriving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    Sending abusive or harassing messages or emails.

    Persistent messaging without good reason.
